It has taken 3 great years of recording and performing with Guarro to get here, we have played some amazing gigs both in the UK and around Europe sharing the same stage as Iggy and The Stooges, Pearl Jam and Guns ‘N’ Roses. We have recorded 2 albums and made a cracking EP under the guidance of Tom Leader, we have also had the deep pleasure of recording with Gareth Davies and “The Orchestra We Cannot Name” because they’ll sue. Huw and I got the chance to play a gig with them also at The Union Chapel, which I must say was a personal highlight.

Guarro is no longer and I stand here now as me, Marcos D’Cruze.

Huw, Lee and Steve will still be joining me when I go out with a band sound and Huw and I will never tire of the Duo.

Marcos D\'Cruze Profile/biog as a Singer/Songwriter/Musician and Composer

Marcos D\'Cruze was born in Acton London and is an accomplished Flamenco guitarist.
Since starting his musical career from a very early age, Marcos gained a huge amount of experience touring the UK and Europe as a musician in many different fields of music from classical to Flamenco and pop. Marcos has before going solo this year spent the last 3 years developing his sound with his band Guarro.
All these musical influences can be found in his work and it is this depth of experience that gives Marcos an unusually fresh approach to both his pop/dance production and composition for TV, Film and Theatre.
Marcos is also currently co-writing with various artists around Europe and concentrating on song-writing and gigging with his flamenco/rock infused sound gigging for the last 2 and half years in the UK and Europe under the band name of Guarro, opening the Natural Music Festival in Almeria headlined by Guns \'N\' Roses, and playing The Azkena Rock Festival sharing the stage with Pearl Jam, Wolfmother and Iggy and the Stooges.
Marcos is now writing his third solo album entitled "Between Saturn and the sofa" and is composing his 3rd Musical "Mrs Gucci" with co-writer Peter Jukes.

MARCOS D\'CRUZE
Actor profile/biog

Native Londoner, bilingual Spanish with an Indian dad: Marcos is an unusually versatile actor, playing all types of English (educated professional, cockney heavy etc) and USA plus Asian and Middle Eastern nationalities, as well as Hispanic and Mediterranean - with a big range of authentic international accents.

He has a powerful tenor singing voice, strong both in musical and rock, and is also an acclaimed instrumentalist, winning prizes for flamenco guitar at the Royal Academy of Music and in Spain, also playing rock guitar, drums, keyboards and percussion, and having a number of major credits to his name as a composer.

Playing range: 20 to mid-30s; Build: shortish, strong, athletic; Colouring: brown.


Theatre - so far just a selection of West End and touring musical leads, the first, at the age of 19, creating Pepe in Matador (dir Elija Moshinski, Queens Theatre, original cast), and then playing the charismatic Cookie in Return to the Forbidden Planet (dir Pete Rowe, original UK tour). He created the comical Puerto Rican, Joe Vega, in Fame (dir Runar Borge, Cambridge & Prince of Wales Theatres, original cast) - a role which he later reprised for further 2 years at the Aldwych - and, lastly, created the roles of Cliff Richard and the La Bamba artist in Good Rockin\' Tonite (dir Keith Strachan, Strand and Prince of Wales Theatres, Playhouse Theatre Liverpool).
